CAMBRIA <br /> Groundwater Remediation System Operation Cambria installed a GWE system at this site <br /> which began operation in March 2000 and was shut down in July 2001 Hydrocarbon and MTBE <br /> concentrations have been substantially reduced in groundwater beneath the site The GWE <br /> system extracted groundwater from well EW-1 at approximately five gallons per minute An <br /> estimate of contaminant mass removed by the GWE system is summarized in the following table <br /> MASS REMOVAL BY GROUNDWATER EXTRACTION <br /> Constituent Total Removed <br /> Total Hydrocarbons 18 pounds <br /> MTBE 15 2 pounds <br /> Water 2,295,500 gallons <br /> ANTICIPATED SECOND QUARTER 2004 ACTIVITIES <br /> . Blaine will gauge and sample the site wells according to the existing sampling schedule and <br /> tabulate the data Cambria will prepare a groundwater monitoring report Groundwater samples <br /> will be collected monthly from well MW-6A and these data will be reported via facsimile as we <br /> receive them from the lab <br /> We received the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department letter dated <br /> February 11, 2004 requesting that groundwater samples be analyzed on an annual basis for the <br /> seven fuel oxygenates and for lead scavengers We arranged for this additional analysis to occur <br /> during the second quarter 2004 sampling event <br /> CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Groundwater analytical data from all of the wells at this site continue to show a declining or <br /> stable trend <br /> i <br /> 0324 2 <br />
