(Cambria) is submitting this groundwater monitoring <br /> report on behalf of Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) in accordance <br /> with the quarterly reporting requirements of 23 CCR 2652d. <br /> FOURTH QUARTER 2002 ACTIVITIES <br /> Groundwater Monitoring: Blaine Tech Services, Inc. (Blaine) of San Jose, California gauged <br /> and sampled all wells, and prepared a summary table of field gauging data and laboratory <br /> analytical data. Cambria prepared an area well survey map (Figure 1) and two groundwater <br /> elevation contour maps (Figures 2 and 3). Blaine's report, presenting the laboratory report and <br /> supporting field notes, is included as Appendix A. <br /> GROUNDWATER REMEDIATION <br /> Interim Groundwater Remediation: Blaine began weekly purging of onsite monitoring well <br /> MW-1 on November 10, 1998 and onsite extraction well EW-1 on March 11, 1999. This practice <br /> Oakland, CA continued until the groundwater extraction (GWE)system was started during March 2000. <br /> San Ramon, CA <br /> Sonoma, CA <br /> Groundwater Remediation System Operation: Cambria installed a GWE system at this site <br /> Cambria which began operation in March 2000 and was shut down in July 2001.
