On behalf of Shell, Cambria Environmental <br /> Technology, Inc. (Cambria) is submitting this groundwater monitoring report in accordance with <br /> the quarterly reporting requirements of 23 CCR 2652d. <br /> SECOND QUARTER 2002 ACTIVITIES <br /> Groundwater Monitoring: On April 15, 2002, Blaine Tech Services, Inc. (Blaine) of San Jose, <br /> California gauged and sampled all wells, and compiled the groundwater analytical data. Cambria <br /> prepared an area well survey map (Figure 1) and two groundwater elevation contour maps <br /> (Figures 2 and 3). Blaine's report, presenting the laboratory report and supporting field notes, is <br /> included as Appendix A. <br /> GROUNDWATER REMEDIATION <br /> Oakland, CA Interim Groundwater Remediation: Blaine began weekly purging of onsite monitoring well <br /> San Ramon, CA <br /> Sonoma, CA MW-1 on November 10, 1998 and onsite extraction well EW-1 on March 11, 1999. This practice <br /> continued until the groundwater extraction (GWE)system was started during March 2000. <br /> Cambria <br /> Fnvirek!!m „+.i <br /> Technology, Inc. Groundwater Remediation System Operation: Cambria installed a GWE system at this site <br /> which began operation in March 2000 and was shut down in July 2001. Hydrocarbon and MTBE <br /> ns <br /> P.O.Box 25 <br /> erk259 Street concentrations have been substantially reduced in wells at the site.
