Well Installation Report <br /> Shell Seiviee Station <br /> 341 Main Street <br /> Ripon, California <br /> WIC #204-6562-0804 <br /> Cambria Project#24-324-11 <br /> Dear Mr Rowe <br /> On behalf of Shell Oil Products Company (Shell), Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) <br /> is submitting this report summarizing the installation of one monitoring well at the site referenced above <br /> The installation of the well was requested by the San Joaquin County Department of Public Health <br /> Services (SJCPHS) in a June 6, 1997 letter to Shell The scope of work was outlined in Cambria's <br /> October 15, 1997 hive sugation Work Plan Addendum The objective was to determine the presence of <br /> hydrocaibons in soil and ground watei beneath the site <br /> SITE SUMMARY <br /> Site Descriphon The site is located at the northwest corner of the inteisecUon of East Main Sticet and <br /> CAMBRIA the Main Sticet overcrossing in Ripon, California A site plan is included as Figure I The site is <br /> currently an operating Shell Seivice Station Adjacent pioperties are both commeicial and residential <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> An operating Chevron Sei vice Station is located southwest of the Shell station, across East Main Street <br /> TECHNOLOGY,INC <br /> Previous Investigation Cambria collected samples during the replacement of the undei ground storage <br /> 1144 65TH STREET, <br /> tanks (USTs) and product hues in Apiil 1996 Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and <br /> SUITE B benzene were not detected in the soil samples except for one sample from the southeast dispenser island <br /> The area was subsequently over-excavated to a depth of 18 feet, which was the maxiinum depth possible <br /> OAKLAND, with the equipment available, and iesampled The analytical results from the sample collected fiom 18 ft <br /> CA 94608 below ground surface (bgs) contained 43 parts pei million (ppm) benzene and 0 250 ppm methyl <br /> teit-butyl ether (MTBE) The excavation, sampling, and analytical iesults were summalized in <br /> .10)420-0700 Cambiia's July 25, 1996 Tank Removal and Soil Sampling Repott <br /> FAX (510)420-9170 <br />
