EL OORAOO STREET <br /> STOCKTON,CA 95202-1997 <br /> Jaid 2 01995 <br /> January 17, 1995 <br /> ENVIRONMENTALIIERICESLTH <br /> TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS <br /> , REQUEST FOR QUOTES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO DO SOIL AND <br /> GROUNDWATER INVESTIGATION "WORK PLAN" FOR CITY OF STOCKTON'S FIRE <br /> STATION # 12 - REMOVED FUEL TANK SITE <br /> The City of Stockton Public Works Department/Solid Waste Division <br /> is requesting quotes for the Fire Station # 12 soil and <br /> groundwater investigation Work Plan. <br /> Background Information: <br /> In September 1994, two (2) five hundred gallon fuel tanks were <br /> removed from this site . <br /> Sampled analysis taken initially, indicated TPH and BETEX soil <br /> contamination at unsatisfactory levels . Subsequently additional <br /> excavation and soil re-tests were performed. See attached <br /> analysis . <br /> The Public Health Services is requesting additional samples be <br /> taken to determine the horizontal and vertical extent of the. <br /> remaining contamination. <br /> The Work Plan shall include the following items and costs: <br /> a) One (1) monitoring well . (40 ' depth min. ) including <br /> groundwater VOC test results . <br /> b) Determine the vertical and horizontal extent of soil <br /> contaminations .
