Selected soil samples collected from each boring were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX compounds), Organic Lead, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and fuel oxygenates methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MtBE), tert-butyl alcohol, tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tert-butyl ether(EtBE), ethanol, and methanol Analytical results for TPH-g, BTEX, MtBE, tert-butyl alcohol, TAME, DIPE, EtBE, ethanol, Organic Lead, and VOCs were reported as nondetectable in all soil samples submitted for analysis Methanol was reported in six samples at concentrations ranging from 12 mg/kg (MW-3@ 45')to 250 mg/kg(MW-1 @ 25') Methanol is a common laboratory contaminant Soil analytical data is presented in Table I Field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment C Certified analytical reports and chain-of-custody documentation are presented as Attachment D. �+ • Groundwater Sampling and Results. Samples were collected on April 15, 1999 after development of wells by a SECOR field technician Collected samples were analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX compounds, dissolved lead, and fuel oxygenates MtBE, tert-butyl alcohol, TAME, DIPE, EtBE, ethanol, and methanol Groundwater analytical results indicated relatively low concentrations (1 37 to 4 20 µg/1) of tetrachloroethene(a k a perchloroethene or PCE) in each of the wells No other analytes were detected in any of the groundwater samples Groundwater analytical data is presented in Table 2 Field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment C Certified analytical reports and chain-of-custody documentation are presented as Attachment D. • Stockpiled Soil.
