(Cambria)
is submitting this work plan addendum for a subsurface investigation at the site referenced above on
behalf of Shell OilProducts Company. In our meeting, you requested that we install three wells to
define the extent of hydrocarbons in soil and assess whether hydrocarbons are in ground water beneath
the site. Our proposed scope of work for this investigation is described below.
PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK
The only areas where elevated hydrocarbon concentrations were detected in soil following tank and
piping upgrades were the western dispenser and the east side of the former underground storage tanks
where the product piping entered the tank pit. We will install one well at each of these two locations.
We will install a third well at the northeast corner of the property to determine ground water flow
CAMBRIA direction and gradient and to further define the extent of any hydrocarbons that are detected in ground
ENVIRONMENTALwater in the two source area wells. Well locations are shown on Figure 1.
TECHNOLOGY,INC. The specific tasks to be performed include:
1144 65TH STREET,
Utility Location: Cambria will notify Underground Service Alert of our drilling activities to identify
SUITE B utilities in the site vicinity.
OAKLAND, Site Health and Safety Plan: We will prepare a comprehensive site safety plan to protect site workers.
CA 94608 The plan will be kept on site during site activities and signed by each site worker.
PH:(510)420-0700
FAX:(510)420-9170
i
I
