(Cambria) prepared this work plan on behalf of <br /> Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US to propose the destruction of three <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-3) at the referenced site. This work plan <br /> was prepared in response to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's <br /> (SJCEHD's) January 31,2006 letter, which recommended the destruction of existing site wells in <br /> order to proceed with case closure. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is a former service station located on the southeastern corner of the intersection of North <br /> Main Street and Louise Ave in a commercial area of Manteca, California (Figure 1). The site <br /> layout formerly consisted of a service station building, four dispenser islands and an <br /> Underground Storage Tank complex(Figure 2). <br /> WORK PLAN <br /> B letter dated January 24 2006 the Central Valle <br /> By ry y Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> concurred with the SJCEHD's determination of No Further Action Required (NFAR) at the site. <br /> Cambria received SJCEHD's January 31, 2006 letter requesting the proper destruction of all <br /> monitoring wells at the site before the NFAR letter can be issued. The proposed scope of work <br /> to properly destroy the three on site wells is presented below: <br /> Permits:Appropriate permits will be obtained from SJCEHD prior to well destruction. <br />
