Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> De Anda Property <br /> 2606 East Main Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Francisco De Anda,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared <br /> the enclosed Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan for the property at 2606 East Main Street, APN <br /> 155-451-11,in Stockton,California. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1.A plan of the <br /> site is illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> This workplan is prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD) for the procurement of a soil boring permit. The work is being performed as part of due <br /> diligence by Mr. Francisco De Anda to investigate the areas of the former dispenser islands and <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs). <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The subject property is located in the southeastern portion of the City of Stockton, San Joaquin <br /> County, on the southeast corner of East Main Street and Sullivan Avenue. Land use of the <br /> surrounding properties was mixed residential and commercial. Figure 1 shows the setting of the <br /> subject property,which is located in the northwest quarter of Section 07,Township 1 North,Range 7 <br /> East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (7.5 Minute United States Geological Survey (USGS) <br /> Topographic Series, Stockton East, California, 1968, photo revised 1987) at an elevation of <br /> approximately 25 feet above mean sea level and in an area of very low topographic relief. The <br /> regional slope of the area is relatively gentle and dips toward the west-northwest. <br /> 2.1. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> The subject property was a Sunland Service Station in 1956 with a 42-foot by 25-foot service station <br /> building, three pump islands with two pumps each, two "hoists", a dual hose lube reel and three <br /> USTs(one 12,000-gallon,one 8,000-gallon and one 550-gallon).The service station was demolished <br /> in January 1984;the subject property was undeveloped in June 2000.Records did not show the exact <br /> location of the USTs, or whether they were removed or closed in-place. The EHD had no records <br /> on-file for the property address. <br /> 2.2. REGIONAL GEOLOGIC/HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The subject property is situated within the Great Valley Geomorphic Province of California,a large, <br /> elongate, northwest trending, asymmetric structural trough.
