Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. The facility <br /> has the following wastes stored at 5763 Cherokee Road: <br /> a. Two 30-gallon containers of oily liquid. <br /> b. Three 55-gallon containers of unknown waste_ <br /> c. Two 5-gallon containers of unknown waste. <br /> d. One 5-gallon container of old deck sealant. <br /> e_ One 5-gallon container of old lubricant. <br /> Immediately make a hazardous waste determination for the above wastes, and manage it according the <br /> Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD)explaining how these wastes were managed by September 30, <br /> 2011. <br /> Notice to Comply <br /> 32. The facility does not have a hazardous waste tank assessment document for the used oil tank. <br /> Contact a California professional engineer to complete this tank assessment. Civil, Structural and <br /> Geotechnical engineers can certify the entire assessment. Submit a statement to the EHD explaining <br /> how the facility will comply with this requirement by September 30, 2011. <br /> 35. The facility is not conducting daily hazardous waste tank inspections as specified in this code <br /> section. Immediately start these inspections using the provided form or equivalent. Submit a statement <br /> to the EHD explaining how the facility will comply with this requirement by September 30, 2011. <br /> 49. The facility has not documented hazardous waste training with the relevant employees within the <br /> last 12 months. Conduct this training immediately and document the training. Keep a written summary <br /> of the training content, a record of employees trained, date of training, and employee job titles. Submit a <br /> statement to the EHD explaining how the facility will comply with this requirement by September 30, <br /> 2011. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTI N AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD I ctor.
