If I
hear anything, I will let you know.
Our unit will be attending Low-threat UST Case Closure Policy training and guidance in the next several weeks
and at that time i may decide the order in which I will review the sites assigned to me. I believe each case worker
will handle his/her sites differently as far as prioritizing which sites to review first under the Low-threat UST Case .
Closure Policy. if Geological Technics Inc.has a preference,;let me,know and l will do the best I can to
accommodate your wishes.
.Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-9852
Email: vmccartney(a-)-sicehd.com
From: Jenny Weese [mailto:JennyW@gtienv.com].
Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2012 10:10 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: Marci Project
Hi Vicki,
Just checking in to see if there is any new info on Marci?Last time we swapped emails Kirk Larsen at the
Fund and Nuel were exchanging information.-Any-decisions yet? I am trying to stay on top of this because
the Fund has some very strict deadlines for requesting more money through the Change Order process.
Marci was allocated only$25000 for the 12/13 FY and if more is going to be needed, the sooner we ask
the better chance she will have of getting a little bit more.Requests are processed in the order of receipt.
Also—not sure who to address this following question to—can you guide me??
With the approval of the Low-Threat UST Case Closure Policy, an.August 24, 2012 letter was sent out by
the SWRCB. One of the directives was that all regulatory agencies have to review their cases within 365
days to determine if any of their sites.qualify for closure under this policy and if not, why. How will your
department handle this review? Will it be done in any particular order—can we ask that one of our sites
be done sooner versus later?'
As always,thanks for your time',
Jenny Weese
Chief of Operations
9/11/2012
