The tank trailer will be emptied at regular intervals by a licensed hauler
for transportation to a waste disposal facility.
tow ■ Collect data for actual vacuum flow and contaminant concentrations and temperature.
■ Delineate the area of influence from the applied vacuum and groundwater draw down
through use of observation wells.
60
4.3 Equipment
v ■ A self contained trailer-mounted unit will be procured with liquid ring blower, water
transfer tank, thermal oxidizer and control panel.
A temporary propane tank will be used as fuel for the thermal oxidizer unit.
■ Hoses will be used to connect the well heads to a manifold on the trailer input pipe.
■ A 4000 gallon tank trailer will be used to hold the extracted water and then it will be
hauled off at periodic intervals to a licensed disposal facility.
V
4.4 Phased Dual Phase Extraction Tests 3S 55,51 . Pq4 .
, ;, .4
First Test:
The first test will start with extraction from well EW-4 w cojs located between MW-5 and ;
MW-7, the most heavily impacted wells. The test will continue for 5 days and 3 groundwater and 3 air samples will be
collected for the analyses mentioned in Section 49. Vacuum, PID, and groundwater depth
t will be measured a minimum of 10 times in the above mentioned wells over the course of the
5 day test. The system is turned off for 9 days to get back to the initial conditions before
starting the second test.
R
A; w&(ls Pt drowne.,A vN VJ e'er yacVvr" 46 Q""-c ` M►'MS 11kr
EW w 101-1 €tiI'103
