Hunter & Associates 2220 Loma Vista Dr <br /> Registered Geologists Sacramento, CA 95825 <br /> Petroleum &Mineral Appraisers (916) 972-7941 <br /> 4PFAX (916) 972-1683 <br /> REPORT COVERING RESULTS OF <br /> PLACEMENT OF MONITORING WELL#4 <br /> Marci's Diesel Service <br /> 2959 Loomis Road, Stockton, CA <br /> Site Code 2015 <br /> PURPOSE OF WORK: <br /> Prior work at this site (removal of two UST's and placement of 3 monitoring wells and <br /> one soil bonng,) revealed that soil and groundwater contamination exists beneath the site <br /> of the removed tanks MW-2 & MW-3 have never recorded any contamination in either <br /> soil or water samples MW-1 has recorded minor amounts of benzene and xylene in water <br /> samples from three of the sampling events, TEPH as diesel was detected in four amplings, <br /> and TPH as gasoline in only one Soil samples from MW-1 recorded minor amounts of <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, & TPHd from 36' bgl to 77'bgl However, a soil boring <br /> (LB-1) placed in the center of the site of the removed tanks measured high levels of TPH <br /> as gasoline& diesel from 31'bgl to 7 P bgl, and lesser amounts at 77' & 80' bgl <br /> Based upon an analysis of all of the data, our firm requested site closure, (refer to WJH <br /> report titled "Results of 11/27/1996 Groundwater sampling and Request for Closure" <br /> dated January 9, 1997 for details However, the San Joaquin Co EHD did not approve <br /> closure and required an additional monitoring well be placed at the site A copy of that <br /> correspondence is attached as EXHIBIT A. <br /> Monitoring well #4 was placed on September 4, 1997, this report covers the results of <br /> that work <br /> PROPERTY LOCATION & ADDRESS: <br /> The property is located at the south end of the City of Stockton, a short distance west of <br /> Highway 99 The address is 2969 Loomis Road <br /> PROPERTY OWNER: <br /> Marci's Diesel Service, 2973 Loomis Road, Stockton <br /> RESPONSIBLE PARTY: <br /> John& Margaret Marci, (209) 772-9148 <br /> LEGAL DESCRIPTION: <br /> 1 <br />
