1 <br /> Geological Tecimics &C, <br /> 1 101 7"Street <br /> Modesto,California 95354 <br /> ' (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> ' REPORT <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 2nd Quarter 2003 <br /> ' Marei Property <br /> 2969 Loomis Road <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Project No 770 2 <br /> September 24, 2003 <br /> �T <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The site's eleven groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly <br /> schedule This report summarizes groundwater sounding events on April 28 and May 23, <br /> ' 2003, and the 2"" Quarter 2003 nionitoi ing event completed on June 18, 2003 <br /> The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate that diesel range petroleum <br /> ' hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in five of the site's eleven wells -/Well MW-5 continues <br /> to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D although the concentrations continue to <br /> fluctuate since the start of the monitoring program <br /> ' Depth to groundwater was measured three times during the firstuarter of 2003 On <br /> q April <br /> 28, 2003 gradient calculations show that groundwater flow in the water table wells was <br /> S52°E with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft The deeper aquifer groundwater flow was S740W with a <br /> slope of 0 0068 ft/ft On May 23, 2003, the shallow aquifer flow was S58T with a slope of <br /> 0 003 ft/ft and the deeper flow was S770W with a slope of 0 0063 ft/ft On June 18, 2003, <br /> the shallow aquifer flow was S26°E with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft and the deeper flow was <br /> SWE with a slope of 0 0012 ft/ft y <br /> Based on a previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow <br /> direction The deeper aquifer experienced a 180' reversal of groundwater direction for the <br /> ,� April and May 2003 sounding events and GTI's monitoring efforts confirm that <br />
