1 <br /> GeotogicaI Technics leu. <br /> 1101 7'h Street <br /> Modesto,California 95354 <br />' (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br />' REPORT <br /> Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 4" Quarter 2002 <br /> Marci Property <br /> 2969 Loomis Road <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Project No 770 2 <br /> April 30, 2003 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The site's eleven groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly <br /> schedule This report summarizes a groundwater sounding event on November 19, 2002, <br /> and the 4'h Quarter 2002 monitoring event completed on December 18, 2002 <br /> The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate that diesel range petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in six of the site's eleven wells Well MW-5 continues <br /> to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D although the concentrations continue to <br /> fluctuate since the start of the monitoring program <br /> Oxidation-Reduction Potential measurements show that five of the site's eleven monitoring <br /> wells are within the reaction depleted water caused by biodegradation of the contamination <br /> plume <br /> Depth to groundwater was measured twice during the fourth quarter of 2002 On November <br /> 19, 2002 gradient calculations show that groundwater flow in the water table wells was <br /> S65°E with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft The deeper aquifer groundwater flow was N84°E with a <br /> slope of 0 0014 ft/ft On December 18, 2002, the shallow aquifer flow was S60°E with a <br /> slope of 0 001 ft/ft and the deeper flow was N82°E with a slope of 0 0013 ft/ft Based on a <br /> previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow direction <br /> GTI's monitoring efforts confirm that groundwater direction varies from quarter to quarter <br /> at the site <br />
