Geological Techgics Ifta
' 1101 70 street
Modesto,California 95354
(209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227
' REPORT
Groundwater Monitoring
4th Quarter 2005
Marci Property
2969 Loomis Road
' Stockton, CA
Project No 770 2
March 16, 2006
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The site's groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly schedule
This report summarizes the 4th Quarter 2005 monitoring event completed on December 9,
2005
' The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate that diesel range petroleum
hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in four of the site's eleven monitoring wells Well MW-5
continues to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D and has experienced wide swings in
diesel content over the last few events It is possible that these fluctuations are due to
changes in groundwater elevation and/or poor recharge to the well with the resulting poor
' sample quality
Depth to groundwater was measured in the sites eleven wells during the fourth quarter of
' 2005 On December 9, 2005, the shallow aquifer flow was S45°E with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft,
and the deeper flow was East with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft The vertical groundwater gradients
were variable for the event The gradients were positive (or upward) and negative (or
' downward) for the MW-5/105 and MW-61106 well pairs, respectively
Based on a previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow
' direction The shallow groundwater generally flows to the south-southeast whereas the
deeper aquifer generally flows to the east The gradient of the shallow aquifer has ranged
from east-northeast to southwest The deeper aquifer experienced a 180' reversal of
l
