C?e0 �to icaI reA"ics fit co <br /> 1 <br /> 11017 1h Street <br /> Modesto,California 95354 <br /> ' (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> 1 REPORT <br /> Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 3'd Quarter 2005 <br /> Marci Property <br /> 2969 Loomis Road <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Project No 770 2 <br /> ' November 9, 2005 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The site's groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly schedule <br /> This report summarizes the 3`d Quarter 2005 monitoring event completed on August 25, <br /> 2005 <br /> 1 The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate <br /> that diesel range petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in four of the site's eleven monitoring wells Well MW-5 <br /> continues to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D and has experienced a wide swing in <br /> diesel content over the last few events It is possible that this fluctuation is due to a change in <br />' groundwater elevation and/or poor recharge to the well with the resulting poor sample <br /> quality <br /> Depth to groundwater was measured in the sites eleven wells during the third quarter of 2005 <br />' On August 25, 2005, the shallow aquifer flow was S 15°E with a slope of 0 003 ft/ft, and the <br /> deeper flow was S850E with a slope of 0 002 ft/ft The vertical groundwater gradient is <br />' generally in a negative or downward direction <br /> Based on a previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow <br /> 1 direction The shallow groundwater generally flows to the south-southeast whereas the <br /> deeper aquifer generally flows to the east The gradient of the shallow aquifer has ranged <br /> from east-northeast to southwest The deeper aquifer experienced a 180' reversal of <br /> groundwater direction for the April and May 2003 sounding events and GTI's monitoring <br />
