r4eologicaITech&csInc Page a <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Project No 770 2 <br /> July 7,2005 <br /> identified and labeled with a unique designation, inserted into foam holders and placed into <br /> an ice chest cooled to 4°C for transport to the laboratory <br /> All non-disposable sampling equipment was decontaminated using a hot water washer and <br /> detergent before and between uses Disposable gloves were used by the technician to collect <br /> ' all samples and were changed with each sample collection <br /> A chain of custody document, listing all samples collected, accompanied the samples from <br /> ' field to laboratory, thereby providing a means to track their movement and insure their <br /> integrity <br /> All water purged from each monitoring well and riot used as a sample was placed in a <br /> properly labeled 55 gallon DOT approved container and stored on site until its proper <br /> ' disposition can be arranged <br /> Groundwater monitoring field logs are included in Appendix C <br /> 13 Laboratory Analyses <br /> The groundwater samples collected on June 13, 2005, were delivered to California <br /> Laboratory services (CLS) (CA ELAP Certificate No 1233), of Rancho Cordova, California, <br /> for analysis <br /> CLS analyzed the eleven monitoring well groundwater samples for <br /> • Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, and Xylene (BTEX) by EPA method 8015M/8021 B <br /> ' • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-G) by EPA method 8015M/8021 B <br /> • TEPH-Diesel by EPA method 8015(M) <br /> ' The detection limits for the above analyses are listed in Table 4A (Shallow wells) and Table <br /> 4B (Intermediate/Deep wells) of Appendix A while the laboratory analytical results are <br /> presented in Appendix B <br /> As required under AB2886, the laboratory analytical data and Geo Well files were submitted <br /> electronically to GeoTracker on June 30, 2005 - confirmation numbers 3671188354 and <br /> ' 9932264566 <br /> ' 2 0 FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION <br /> The results of the groundwater monitoring event indicate the following <br /> • The reversal of groundwater direction by 180° in the deeper aquifer for the April and May <br /> 2003 sounding events is anomalous to the historical data The deeper aquifer has been <br /> monitored by three wells (MW-104, MW-105 and MW-106) since June 2002 and the <br />
