• C7eolagical ?reChA1 cs in C* <br /> ' 1101 7'h Street <br /> Modesto,Cahforma 95354 <br /> (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> 1 <br /> ' REPORT <br /> Groundwater Monitoring <br /> V Quarter 2005 <br /> Marci Property <br /> 2969 Loomis Road <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Project No 770 2 <br /> April 25, 2005 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The site's groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly schedule <br /> This report summarizes the 1" Quarter 2005 monitoring event completed on February 25, <br /> 2005 Only ten of eleven wells were sampled for this event because well MW-7 was <br /> ' inaccessible <br /> The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate that diesel range petroleum <br /> ' hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in two of the site's ten wells sampled this quarter Well <br /> MW-5 continues to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D and has experienced a wide <br /> swing in diesel content over the last few events It is possible that this fluctuation is due to a <br /> change in groundwater elevation and/or poor recharge to the well with the resulting poor <br /> sample quality <br /> Depth to groundwater was measured during first quarter of 2005 On February 25, 2005, the <br /> shallow aquifer flow was S33°E with a slope of 0 006 ft/ft, and the deeper flow was S89°E <br /> with a slope of 0 002 ft/ft The vertical groundwater gradient is generally in a negative or <br /> downward direction <br /> Based on a previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow <br /> direction The shallow groundwater generally flows to the south-southeast whereas the <br /> deeper aquifer generally flows to the southeast The gradient of the shallow aquifer has <br /> ranged from east-northeast to southwest The deeper aquifer experienced a 180° reversal of <br />
