Geological TechaW' s kc.
1101 7h street
Modesto,Califomia 95354
(209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227
' REPORT
Groundwater Monitoring
4th Quarter 2004
' Marci Property
2969 Loomis Road
Stockton, CA
' Project No 770 2
February 7, 2005
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The site's eleven groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly
schedule This report summarizes the 4"' Quarter 2004 monitoring event completed on
December 09, 2004
' The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate that diesel range petroleum
hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in eight of the site's eleven wells Well MW-5 continues
to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D and has experienced a wide swing in diesel
' content over the last few events It is possible that this fluctuation is due to a change in
groundwater elevation and/or poor recharge to the well with the resulting poor sample
quality
' Depth to groundwater was measured during fourth quarter of 2004 On December 09 2004
q ,
the shallow aquifer flow was SWE with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft, and the deeper flow was
' SWE with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft The vertical groundwater gradient is generally in a
negative, or downward direction, at a similar gradient as observed in the horizontal direction
' Based on a previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow
direction The shallow groundwater generally flows to the south-southeast whereas the
' deeper aquifer generally flows to the southeast The gradient of the shallow aquifer has
ranged from east-northeast to southwest The deeper aquifer experienced a 180° reversal of
groundwater direction for the April and May 2003 sounding events and GTP s monitoring
