Geological TechaW' s kc. <br /> 1101 7h street <br /> Modesto,Califomia 95354 <br /> (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> ' REPORT <br /> Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 4th Quarter 2004 <br /> ' Marci Property <br /> 2969 Loomis Road <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> ' Project No 770 2 <br /> February 7, 2005 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The site's eleven groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly <br /> schedule This report summarizes the 4"' Quarter 2004 monitoring event completed on <br /> December 09, 2004 <br /> ' The analytical results from groundwater samples indicate that diesel range petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH-D) are present in eight of the site's eleven wells Well MW-5 continues <br /> to contain elevated concentrations of TPH-D and has experienced a wide swing in diesel <br /> ' content over the last few events It is possible that this fluctuation is due to a change in <br /> groundwater elevation and/or poor recharge to the well with the resulting poor sample <br /> quality <br /> ' Depth to groundwater was measured during fourth quarter of 2004 On December 09 2004 <br /> q , <br /> the shallow aquifer flow was SWE with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft, and the deeper flow was <br /> ' SWE with a slope of 0 001 ft/ft The vertical groundwater gradient is generally in a <br /> negative, or downward direction, at a similar gradient as observed in the horizontal direction <br /> ' Based on a previous consultant's data this site has a history of variable groundwater flow <br /> direction The shallow groundwater generally flows to the south-southeast whereas the <br /> ' deeper aquifer generally flows to the southeast The gradient of the shallow aquifer has <br /> ranged from east-northeast to southwest The deeper aquifer experienced a 180° reversal of <br /> groundwater direction for the April and May 2003 sounding events and GTP s monitoring <br />
