The purpose of the survey is to locate any municipal, domestic, or agricultural wells within a 2,000-ft radius. i•� To meet the survey objective, the following tasks were performed: • Geological Technics Inc: personnel reconnoitered the site on January 5, 2001, to make a physical search for any wells in the area. ' • Specific well los were":requested p g q from the State of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) both to aid in identifying local wells and to specify their construction details. The DWR well logs that were available for this area are included in Appendix A with the map reference number in the top right-hand corner. • Mr. Eric Mar of the California Water Service Company (CWSC) was contacted and his facsimile correspondence is included in Appendix B. For the Marci site, CWSC does _ not have any wells within the search radius. Well location details are shown in Table 1 and the approximate well positions are plotted on Map 1. During the field visit, the following item was noted: • The commercial, industrial and residential properties in the area are serviced by private domestic wells. Some industrial facilities within the subject area are serviced by the l t CWSC. N Ir ,.
