This facility is using an inactive EPA ID CAL000076163, which was inactivated in March 2011, rather than the active EPA ID CAL000361443 to manage hazardous waste. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an active EPA ID number. mmediately contact your hazardous waste transporter, AES, to correct the EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste. Submit a statement how this was corrected. 605. Two metal 55 gallon containers- one of oily water and other of gasoline. The container of oily water may contain waste that may be solids such as rags. Both containers are missing the accumulation start date when waste was first placed into the container. Waste can be stored on site for up to six month of initial date of accumulation. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following 1. the words "Hazardous ste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties 4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since it canno be determined how long these drums have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous wast hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. Submit to SJC EHD within 30 days (04/20/2012): 1. one copy of the completed "Return to Compliance Certification" formZ 2. a written corrective action statement for the above violation & disposal receipt for two 55 gallon drums ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIA D WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
