Work To Be Performed, Task 1 <br /> through Task 3. ,Specific details of the work to be performed would be provided in the <br /> Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan that will be provided to the client if WHF is <br /> selected. The following outline is provided in order to better define the costs indicated on <br /> the bid response form. <br /> The scope of work involves: <br /> 1). The preparation and submission ofH&S plan, Work Plan and schedule to San <br /> Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health (DEH), and other <br /> appropriate agencies for review. <br /> 2). Drill a minimum of three (3) soil borings and complete them as two inch <br /> monitoring wells. <br /> 3). Collect soil samples at five foot intervals for geological interpretation and <br /> laboratory analysis (as needed). Deliver all soil samples, under chain of <br /> custody, to an analytical laboratory licensed by the State of California for <br /> hazardous materials work. The samples shall be analyzed for Total <br /> Petroleum Hydrocarbons (diesel) and BTX&E (Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, <br /> and Ethyl Benzene). _ <br /> 4). Survey well elevation and develop the monitoring wells by pumping and <br /> surge blocking, if required. Containerize all development water in DOT <br /> approved 55 gallon drums. <br /> 5). Purge the monitoring wells (containerize purge water in 55 gallon drums), <br /> measure the depth to groundwater (before and after recovery), and sample <br /> the groundwater for laboratory analysis. Deliver all water samples, under <br /> chain of custody with appropriate travel blanks and bailer blanks, to an <br /> analytical laboratory licensed by the State of California for hazardous <br /> materials work. The samples shall be analyzed for Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons (diesel) and BTX&E (Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, and Ethyl <br /> Benzene). <br />
