' FULLER MOBILE HOME PARK
Phase I Remedial Repon
Page 2
Boring B-1 encountered obvious (strong odor and discoloration) contamination at about
8 feet in depth and groundwater at 12 5 feet in depth The water sample obtained from
this boring had strong odor and a petroleum sheen on it
Boring B-2 encountered obvious contamination at groundwater, 12 5 feet in depth
Both the sail at this depth and gzoundwater sample had petroleum odor
Boring B-3 encountered obvious contamination at about 10 feet 1n depth with ground-
water at 12 5 in depth There was a strong odor at the groundwater interface and in the
' groundwater sample
Boring B-4 encountered obvious contamination at eight feet (8) in depth with a strong
odor at 10 to 12 5 feet in depth '1 he groundwater sample also had a petroleum odor
Due to the apparent high levels of contain inaLion in the groundwater samples, bailer
blanks and travel blanks were omitted fiom laboratory analysis These samples are
normally taken for quality assurance to determine if cross contamination has occurred
when low levels are present in the groundwater sample The savings of about
$1,200 00 will be better applied to future efforts in the characterization and clears up of
this site
Soil samples for laboratory analysis were obtained at five feet (5') and 12 5 feet in
depth All five foot (5') samples were non-detect The 12 5 foot soil samples and
groundwater samples all had varying concentrations of gasoline, diesel, and BTX&E as
indicated in Table 1 and Appendix A
TABLE 1
SAMPLE Ethyl
I.D.
