FULLER MOBILE HOME PARK <br /> 365 East Louise, Lathrop, California <br /> r <br /> Phase I Remedial Work Plan <br />' <br /> 1.0 PROJECT IDENTIFICATION <br /> This project has been developed to investigate a former underground storage Wtk- <br /> facility at the Fuller Mobile Horne Park located at 365 East Louise Avenue in Lathrop, <br /> California (Figure 1) This Phase I Work Plan, will eapiore the vertical extent of gas- <br /> oline, diesel fuel, Benzene, Toluene, Xylenes, and Ethvl Benzene (BTX&E) hay ing <br /> Lbeen released to the subsurface in the vicinity of the formes underground storage tanks <br />' i I Site Description and History <br />' On ,September 7, 1390, SEMCO, under perinit (Appendix A), removed Fulier <br /> Mobile Herne Park'% fuel facility, which cons,stcd of two (2) underground <br /> ,tor,.ge tanks, a 550 gallon diesel tank and a 1,000 gallon gasoline tank doll <br /> samples taken under the tanks disclosed concentrations of oasoltne, diesel alt <br /> T,TX&E (Appendix B) <br /> Contaminated soils were placed back in the excavatio-i, wmeh is located in al <br /> area designated for a storm water retention pond <br />' <br /> 2.0 OBJEC!'IVE <br /> The objective of this project is to determine if significant soil and ground water con- <br /> tamination exist by conducting a boring through the former tank ex,avatjon and instal-- <br /> ling a monitoring well down gradient from the former excavation to the northeast <br /> t <br /> - - 3,0 SITE WORK PLAN <br /> tA he following scope of work has been tailored to satisfy the requirements of the S-are <br /> and local implementing agencies, as well as accommodate the tuture use of this area of <br /> the mobile home park property The, City of Lathrop has required Fuller Mobile Hone <br /> Park to install storm water retention ponds, one of the ponds will encompas" the former <br /> tank em avation The pond will be approximately 60 feet wide by 160 long Construe- <br /> tion of the pond will involve removing all of the backfill material, as well as some or <br /> all of the contaminated sons beneath the former tanks (Figure 2) <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
