FULLER MOBILE HOME PARK 365 East Louise, Lathrop, California r Phase I Remedial Work Plan ' 1.0 PROJECT IDENTIFICATION This project has been developed to investigate a former underground storage Wtk- facility at the Fuller Mobile Horne Park located at 365 East Louise Avenue in Lathrop, California (Figure 1) This Phase I Work Plan, will eapiore the vertical extent of gas- oline, diesel fuel, Benzene, Toluene, Xylenes, and Ethvl Benzene (BTX&E) hay ing Lbeen released to the subsurface in the vicinity of the formes underground storage tanks ' i I Site Description and History ' On ,September 7, 1390, SEMCO, under perinit (Appendix A), removed Fulier Mobile Herne Park'% fuel facility, which cons,stcd of two (2) underground ,tor,.ge tanks, a 550 gallon diesel tank and a 1,000 gallon gasoline tank doll samples taken under the tanks disclosed concentrations of oasoltne, diesel alt T,TX&E (Appendix B) Contaminated soils were placed back in the excavatio-i, wmeh is located in al area designated for a storm water retention pond ' 2.0 OBJEC!'IVE The objective of this project is to determine if significant soil and ground water con- tamination exist by conducting a boring through the former tank ex,avatjon and instal-- ling a monitoring well down gradient from the former excavation to the northeast t - - 3,0 SITE WORK PLAN tA he following scope of work has been tailored to satisfy the requirements of the S-are and local implementing agencies, as well as accommodate the tuture use of this area of the mobile home park property The, City of Lathrop has required Fuller Mobile Hone Park to install storm water retention ponds, one of the ponds will encompas" the former tank em avation The pond will be approximately 60 feet wide by 160 long Construe- tion of the pond will involve removing all of the backfill material, as well as some or all of the contaminated sons beneath the former tanks (Figure 2) 1 1
