CHRONOLOGY <br /> CARDOZA ENTERPRISES <br /> 1151 W. LOUISE, MANTECA <br /> 11/12/02 A trench dual containment piping system and system dispensers <br /> were removed this date. Three soil samples were collected <br /> beneath the trench containment and four soil samples were <br /> collected beneath the dispensers. Only one of the seven samples' <br /> analyzed showed contamination. This was D3 and had .09 ppm <br /> MTBE. <br /> 06/12/03 An unauthorized release form and a notification of hazardous waste <br /> - discharge were completed. <br /> 10/17/03 The site was'placed in the Local Oversight Program and a work <br /> plan to investigate the contamination was requested. <br /> 12/05/03 A work plan for three geoprobes and collection of soil and water <br /> samples was submitted. <br /> 05/03/04 Three geoprobes were completed and soil and water samples were <br /> collected. <br /> 06/15/04 Date of"Soil & Groundwater Investigation Report". None of the <br /> nine soil or three groundwater samples analyzed showed detection <br /> of contaminants. The soil samples were originally analyzed with.a <br /> technique that had high detection limits. When the soil samples <br /> were analyzed with the proper method and detection limits the <br /> holding time,'for the samples had passed. Analysis of the water <br /> samples was handled properly. <br /> 09/15/04 Discussed the site with Regional Board staff and agreed that the <br /> site should be closed. <br /> t <br />
