Analytical results from soil and grab groundwater samples indicated <br /> an unauthorized release of petroleum hydrocarbons had occurred. <br /> 04/03/98 Unauthorized Release Report#98-U09 and Notification of Hazardous Waste <br /> Discharge#98-043 submitted this date. <br /> 06/02/98 Notice of Responsibility letter sent to the responsible parties this date. <br /> 10/19/98 Initial site investigation began this date, 5 geoprobe soil borings installed. See site <br /> investigation report dated 11/20/98. <br /> 04/20/99 Three groundwater monitoring wells (screen interval 5 to 25 feet) installed this <br /> date. See site investigation report dated 05/12/99. Routine quarterly groundwater <br /> monitoring, sampling and reporting was initiated following installation. <br /> 03/30/00 Interim remediation of extracting 1300,gallons of water from MW3 was performed <br /> this date. <br /> 6/21-23/00 Three CPT's were installed during this time. See July 2000 report. <br /> 09/22/00 Interim remediation of extracting 400 gallons of water from MW3 was performed <br /> this date. <br /> 11/29/00 Site investigation continued this date with the installation of four additional ground- <br /> water monitoring wells and one recovery well (MW4 screen 33.to 43 feet, MW5 . <br /> and MW7 screen 5 to 25 feet, MW6 screen 65 to 75 feet, RW1 screen 13 to 28 <br /> feet). See 01/19/01 Report. _ <br /> 02/01- Nine dual-phase extraction interim remediation treatment events were conducted <br /> 12/01 at the site,focusing on wells RW-1 and MW-3. CCI estimated that 47.29 gallons of <br /> equivalent product were removed. <br /> 04/10/01 Site investigation continued this date with the installation of one additional ground- <br /> water monitoring well (MW8 screen 13 to 23 feet). See 08/28/01 Report. <br /> 07/26/01 Aquifer pumping test conducted this date on well RW-1. See 08/28/01 Report. <br /> 8/01-10/01 Site investigation continued this date with the installation of three additional <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (MW9 screen 65 to 75 feet, MW10 screen 66 to 76 <br /> feet, MW 11 screen 10 to 30 feet). See 08/28/01 Report. <br /> 09/28/01 Site investigation continued this date with installation of one additional <br /> groundwater monitoring well (MW 12 screen 15 to 30 feet).
