ADDENDUM NEEDED BY:
ADEQUATE AND NECESSARY ELEMENTS OF THE WORK PLAN[H&S 25296.10(c)(3)]:
1. Installation of two geoprobe direct push soil borings to obtain confirmation soil samples
2. The borings will be advanced to total depth of approximately 14 feet below surface grade,to the capillary fringe.
3. Two soil samples from each boring will be analyzed for TPHg,BTEX,and fuel oxygenates by EPA.Method 8260B.
Samples from each boring will also be analyzed for geotechnical parameters of moisture content, porosity and
bulk density.
4. Following completion of the borings they will be backfilled to surface with neat cement grout.
COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Depth to water should be established at the time of the fieldwork and the depth,of the borings adjusted accordingly
to ensure collection of a sample at the capillary fringe.
2. SJC/EHD recommends collecting samples for analysis from the boring near IAW-4 at 10 feet and 14 feet bsg(or at
the capillary fringe). The 5-foot bsg sample from MW-4 was non-detect.
2. Please proceed with submittal of a San Joaquin County well permit application,$89.00 permit fee and$285.00 permit
processing fee.
3. A report of findings must be submitted to SJC/EHD within 60 days following completion of all, fieldwork.
4.
