4,115 �1,fici,Zu3tk Plaza Circle, Suite 100, Danville, CA 94506 (925) 648-2008 Fax (9251 648-2797 <br /> Compliance <br /> Closure, Inc. <br /> October 20, 2003 NOV 19 2003 <br /> ENVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 E Weber Avenue, 3rd Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Attention Ms Lori Duncan <br /> Subject Fourth Quarter 2003 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Quik Stop No 121 <br /> 1196 West Louise Avenue, Manteca, California <br /> (CCI Project No 12118-2) <br /> Dear Ms Duncan <br /> Compliance & Closure, Inc (CCI) is pleased to present the Fourth Quarter 2003 Groundwater <br /> Monitoring Report for the sampling of the thirteen on and off-site groundwater monitoring wells <br /> at Quik Stop Market No 121, located at 1196 West Louise Avenue in the City of Manteca, San <br /> Joaquin County, California (Figure 1) CCI completed the well sampling in accordance with <br /> requiiements of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (County) on October 6, 2003 During the past three months, the water level in the shallow <br /> aquifer at the site has dropped, allowing CCI to collect groundwater samples from only nine of <br /> the thirteen wells this quarter CCI has monitored the operation of the KVA C-sparge system on <br /> a bi-monthly basis to insure proper operation For the three months ending on 0&4er'6, 2003, <br /> the System has operated a total of 840 hours Since the System began operating full,time on <br /> August 2, 2002, the System has operated a total of 5,621 hours The groundwater data collected <br /> during October suggest the System is having a very positive impact on,groundwater coAditions at <br /> the site The results of the monitoring are included in this report <br /> The Fourth quarter groundwater samples collected on October 6, 2003 were`analyzed for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes <br /> (BTEX) and fuel oxygenates Groundwater samples were collected from the site wells in <br /> accordance with CCI's Groundwater Sampling Protocol (Appendix A) The groundwater purged <br /> from each well and equipment rinse water were placed a 55-gallon drum and left at the site A <br /> summary of the groundwater purge data is presented in Table 1 <br />
