1 r <br /> • Quik Stop Market No 121 <br /> CCT Project No 12118-2 <br /> Page 5 <br /> Installations at and near by the subject site The Work Plan will be submitted to the County on or <br /> before June 4, 2001 <br /> Quik Stop Markets, Inc (Quik Stop) conducted a dual-phase vapor extraction test at the subject <br /> site on February 22, 2001 The results of the test indicate remediation of the groundwater <br /> contamination by dural-phase vapor extraction is a viable option for the site The test results <br /> indicate the 8-hour dual-phase events have had a positive impact on removing hydrocarbon mass <br /> at the site Therefore, Quik Stop intends to conduct one 8-hour dual-phase treatment event at the <br /> site on a monthly basis, using a mobil treatment system operated by TRC of Concord, California, <br /> until the extent of contamination can be defined and a permanent treatment system can be <br /> installed at the site <br /> CCI will continue to monitor the site on a quarterly basis to gather additional groundwater <br /> quality data at the site The next quarterly sample round is scheduled for July 2001 <br /> Limitations <br /> • The discussion presented in this report is based on the following <br /> I The observations of the field personnel, <br /> 2 The results of the laboratory analyses performed by a state certified laboratory, <br /> 3 Our understanding of the regulations of the State of California and San Joaquin <br /> County <br /> It is possible that variations in the soil or groundwater conditions could exist beyond the points <br /> explored in this investigation Also, changes in groundwater conditions could occur at some time <br /> in the future due to variations in rainfall, temperature, regional water usage, or other factors <br /> The services performed by CCI have been conducted in a manner consistent with the level of <br /> careand skill ordinarily exercised by members of our profession currently practicing under <br /> similar conditions in the Manteca area No other warranty, express or implied, is made Please <br /> note thatcontarnination of soil and groundwater must be reported to the appropriate agencies in a <br /> timely manner <br /> CCI includes in this report chemical analytical data from a state-certified laboratory CCI has <br /> been informed that the analyses are performed according to procedures suggested by the U S <br /> .
