1 <br /> �� I1 <br /> 7020 Koll Center Parkway, Suite 134, Pleasanton, CA 94566-3107 (925) 426-5395 FAX (925) 426-5391 <br /> • <br /> Compliance <br /> f & <br /> Closure, Inc. <br /> April 14, 2000 <br /> Quik Stop Markets, Inc <br /> 4567 Enterprise Street r <br /> Fremont, California 94538-7605 <br /> Attention Mr Mike Karvelot <br /> Subject April 2000 Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring <br /> Quik Stop Market No 121 <br /> 1196 West Louis Avenue, Manteca, California <br /> (CCI Project No 12118-3) <br /> Dear Mr Karvelot <br /> Compliance & Closure, Inc (CCI) is pleased to present the April 2000 Quarterly Report for the <br /> sampling of three on-site groundwater monitoring wells at Quik Stop Market No 121, located at <br /> 1196 West Louis Avenue in the City of Manteca, San Joaquin County, California(Figure 1) CCI <br /> completed the well sampling in accordance with requirements of the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (County) on April 6, 2000 Ms Lori Duncan of <br /> the County was present during the sampling of the wells On March 30, 2000, CCI pumped <br /> groundwater from well MW-3 using a vacuum truck The purpose was an attempt to remove as <br /> much methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) from around well MW-3 as possible <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from the three monitoring wells in accordance with COI's <br /> Groundwater Sampling Protocol (Appendix A) The groundwater purged from each well and <br /> equipment rinse water were placed in a properly labeled, Department of Transportation-approved <br /> drum and left at the site pending laboratory results A summary of the groundwater purge data is <br /> presented in Table 1 a <br /> Laboratory Analysis <br /> The groundwater samples were submitted to Entech Analytical Labs, Inc (Entech), a state-certified <br /> laboratory located in Sunnyvale, California, for chemical analysis The laboratory employed methods <br /> 0 <br /> Recyclable and made from recycled paper <br />
