` 7020 Koll Center Parkway, Suite 134, Pleasanton, CA 94566-3107 (925) 426-5395 FAX (925) 426-5391 <br /> • <br /> ., <br /> Compliance <br /> & <br /> Closure, Inc <br /> January 31, 2000 <br /> Quik Stop Markets, Inc <br /> 4567 Enterprise Street <br /> Fremont, California 94538-7605 <br /> Attention Mr Mike Karvelot <br /> Subject January 2000 Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring <br /> Quik Stop Market No 121 <br /> 1196 West Louts Avenue, Manteca, California <br /> (CCI Project No 12118-3) <br /> Dear Mr Karvelot <br /> Compliance & Closure, Inc (CCI) is pleased to present the January 2000 Quartei ly Report for the <br /> sampling of three on-site groundwater monitoring wells at Quik Stop Market No 121, located at <br /> 1196 West Louis Avenue in the City of Manteca, San Joaquin County, California (Figure 1) CCI <br /> completed the well sampling to accordance with requirements of the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (County) on January 20, 2000 Ms Lori Duncan <br /> of the County was notified of the sampling event but was unable to be present during the sampling <br /> of the wells The groundwater samples collected from the three onsite monitoring wells were <br /> analyzed foi total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and <br /> total xylenes (BTEX) and the fuel oxygenate methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) <br /> Gioundwater samples were collected from the tluee groundAater monitoring wells in accoidance <br /> with CCI's Groundwater Sampling Protocol(Appendix A) The groundwater purged from each well <br /> and equipment rinse water were placed in a properly labeled, Department of Transportation- <br /> approved drum and Ieft at the site pending laboratory results A summary of the groundwater putge <br /> data is presented to Table 1 <br /> Laboratory Analysis <br /> The three groundwater samples collected from the monitoring wells were submitted to Entech <br /> Analytical Labs, Inc (Entech), a state-certified laboratory located to Sunnyvale, California, <br /> Recyclable and made from recycled paper <br />
