C: Work To Be Performed <br /> ! <br /> The consultant chosen to perform the work will be required to provide all <br /> manpower, equipment, materials, permits, licenses and insurance required <br /> to perform the following work. The work must be performed ' in. <br /> accordance with San Joaquin County Guidelines, State of California LUFT <br /> Field Manual (October 1989), the Tri Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation of UST sites and to include <br /> Appendix A (August 1990), California UST Regulations (Title 23, Division 3, <br /> Chapter 16), and California Policies and Procedures for Investigation and <br /> Clean Up and Abatement of Discharges under Water Code Section 13304 <br /> (June 1992). <br /> Task 1: Work Plans `and Permits <br /> A. Conduct a site background.,' investigation to obtain the <br /> information necessary to carry out the field work. <br /> f <br /> B. Prepare a Health and Safety (H&S) Plan appropriate for each <br /> j phase of the proposed work according to San Joaquin Guidelines. <br /> C Prepare project work plans and work schedule pursuant to the <br /> guidelines. <br /> D Submit the H & S plan, Work Plan and schedule to San Joaquin <br /> County Department of Environmental Health (DEH), and other <br /> appropriate agencies for review. <br /> E. Prepare and submit a permit application to the San Joaquin <br /> Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJUAPCD) for the treatment <br /> of the stockpiled soils (if necessary). <br /> TASK 2: Soil Boring and Monitoring Well Installation and <br /> Sampling <br /> A. Obtain permits and drill a minimum of six (6) soil borings and <br /> complete three (3) of them as two inch monitoring wells. <br /> B. Collect soil samples at five foot intervals for geological <br /> interpretation and laboratory analysis (as needed). Deliver all <br /> _ soil samples, under chain of custody, to an analytical laboratory <br /> licensed by the State of California for hazardous materials work. <br /> _ i <br /> _ i <br />
