Second Quarter 1992 Ground-water Monitoring Report,
7910 Lower Sacramento Road, Stockton, WIC# 204-7524-0808
Dear Mr Garber*
This letter presents the results of second quarter 1992 ground-water monitoring
for the Shell Oil Company (Shell) service station at 7910 Lower Sacramento
Road, Stockton Well MW-2 is monitored on a quarterly basis. Wells MW-1 and
MW-3 are monitored on a semi-annual basis
GROUND-WATER LEVEL SURVEY
On June 2, 1992, static water levels were measured in monitoring wells MW-1
through MW-3 before purging and sampling. Water levels were measured to
0 01 foot from the top of the well casing using an oil/water interface probe No
floating product was observed in the monitonng wells Total well depths were
measured to 0 1 foot. Results of the second quarter water level survey, and
data from four previous surveys are presented in Table 1
r SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
Ground-water samples were collected on June 2, 1992 from monitonng well
MW-2 Samples are collected from monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-3 during
first and third quarter monitoring A site map, including the monitoring well
locations, is attached, as provided by Delta Environmental. The ground-water
monitoring well was purged before sampling using a polyvinyl chloride bailer, a
low-flow submersible pump, or a Teflon® baler Samples were collected using
a Teflon bailer The procedures used to purge and sample ground-water
mon(tonng wells were detailed in our November 14, 1991 Proposal to Conduct
Ground-water Monitoring for Shell Oil Company, and were included in our first
quarter 1992 report.
Samples were cooled with ice packs and delivered, under chain-of-custody
control, to Sequoia Analytical laboratory for analysis
1433 N Market Boulevard Sacramento California 95834 (916) 928-3300
