5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
5.1 Conclusions
• No detectable levels of TPHd, TPHg, BTEX or gasoline oxygenate additives were found in the
soil. This evidence suggests that the soil in the vicinity of the former UST has not been
significantly impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons. The minor concentrations of petroleum
hydrocarbons detected during UST removal have apparently degraded.
• Groundwater was initially encountered at a depth of approximately 15 feet bgs and did not appear
fluctuate. Laboratory analyses confirmed that groundwater beneath the site has not been impacted
by TPHd, TPHg,BTEX or gasoline oxygenate additives in the vicinity of the former UST.
5.2 Recommendations
Based on the results of this investigation, no residual petroleum hydrocarbons or oxygenate additives
are evident in the soil or groundwater. Ground Zero recommends case closure with no further action.
If you have any questions regarding this investigation, please contact Ground Zero at your
convenience.
Respectfully,
Ground Zero Analysis, Inc.
eY, ` ED G£OO
Staff ogist <v' CcP
GREGORY P.
STAHL
* No. 5023
gory P.
