TA,,,LE 1 - CHECKLIST OF REQUIRE...DATA
FOR NO FURTHER ACTION REQUESTS AT UNDERGROUND TANK SITES
Site Name and Location: Stockton Developmental Center, 510 Magnolia Street, Stockton,San Joaquin Co.
N 1. Distance to production wells for municipal, domestic, agriculture, industry No well survey completed for this site.
and other uses within 2000 feet of the site; SJCEHD indicated that there was limited
contamination not requiring clean-up.
0 2. Site maps, to scale, of area impacted showing locations of former and existing tank systems, Documents viewed in the
excavation contours and sample locations, boring and monitoring well elevation contours, SJCEHD casefi/e.
gradients, and nearby surface waters, buildings, streets, and subsurface utilities,
N ] 3. Figures depicting lithology(cross section), treatment system diagrams;
EYD 4. Stockpiled soil remaining on-site or off-site disposal(quantity); Off-site disposal of 317 tons of TPHd contaminated soil.
EN 5. Monitoring wells remaining on-site, fate; No monitoring wells were installed at the site.
a6. Tabulated results of all groundwater elevations and depths to water, N/A-No groundwater data for this site
a 7.Tabulated results of all sampling and analyses:
The files reviewed at the SJCEHD contained all sampling results with
FY Detection limits for confirmation sampling the appropriate detection limits.
nN Lead analyses
0 8. Concentration contours of contaminants found and those remaining in soil Soil contamination is defined in the vertical
and groundwater, and both on-site and off-site: and lateral directions by soil borings and
❑Y Lateral and y Vertical extent of soil contamination excavation sampling. No groundwater
samples were collected at this site.
RN Lateral and 0 Vertical extent of groundwater contamination
NA 9.Zone of influence calculated and assumptions used for subsurface
remediation system and the zone of capture attained for the soil and
groundwater remediation system;
Y 10.Reports/information [y Unauthorized Release Form a QMRs(Dates)
Well and boring logs ❑N PAR Q FRP 0 Other(report name) Characterization Report
Y 11.Best Available Technology(BAT)used or an explanation for not using BAT; SJCEHD determined contaminant
concentrations in soil to be low risk.
NA 12.Reasons why background wasps unattainable using BAT,
FNA
13.Mass balance calculation of substance treated versus that remaining; Approx 100-150 cu yds of TPHd impacted soil
remain in place at the site.
NA 14.Assumptions,parameters, calculations and model used in risk
assessments, and fate and transport modeling,
0 15.Rationale why conditions remaining at site will not adversely TPHd,and fuel oil impact only.Analytical results indicate
impact water quality, health, or other beneficial uses, and that the contamination does not extend below 15-20 feet
bgs. Groundwater is at 45 feet bgs
NA 16.WET or TCLP results
Nr6QC
By; Comments:All indications by SJCEHD are that the contamination at the site is located in the immediate area of the
former impacted tanks. Some minor overexcavation was completed, and 317 tons of diesel impacted soil was
Date' removed from the site under manifest. This does appear to be a low risk, soil only site, however, no PNA analysis
g was completed. Corrective Action should be reviewed if land use changes.
