Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> MIKE BEAN <br /> CHIEF OF PLANT OPERATIONS w <br /> Fly <br /> STOCKTON DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER <br /> 510 E MAGNOLIA STREET JAN 3 n 1995 <br /> STOCKTON CA 95202 <br /> RE: Stockton Developmental Center SITE CODE: 1165 <br /> 510 E Magnolia Street <br /> Stockton CA 95202 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the Revised <br /> Technical Workplan Phase II Site Investigation workplan for Tank Site #3 dated January 12, 1995 which was <br /> submitted by Tetra Tech Inc. for the above referenced site. <br /> The workplan discusses the site background and the reason for conducting the investigation.The workplan describes <br /> the type and location of borings to determine the lateral and vertical extent of soil contamination in the tank and <br /> pipeline area for tank #3 which was removed from service on May 5, 1991. <br /> The detection limits used for Laboratory analysis shall follow Tri-Regional and LUFT guidelines. Soil samples shall <br /> be analyzed at the following detection limits: <br /> BTEX .005 ppm Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylene <br /> TPH-g 1.0 ppm Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gas <br /> TPH-d 10 ppm Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> Please submit a drilling permit application along with the$89 processing fee to PHS/EHD. A permit shall be issued <br /> prior to drilling. PHS/EHD shall be notified 48 hours prior to drilling on.site to observe sampling and grouting <br /> procedures.
