' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> 650 Management Corporation (Client) has retained Park Environmental Corporation (Park) to <br /> perform quarterly groundwater monitoring at 151 South Main Street in Manteca, California A <br /> site location map and site plan, showing the locations of the various wells, are shown on Figures 1 <br />' and 2 The work performed and described in this report has been mandated by the lead agency, <br /> the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD),and <br />' was performed in accordance with the workplan dated May 24, 1994 and supplemented January <br /> 13, 1995, which was approved by PHS/EHD <br />' 1.1 Scope of Work <br /> Specific tasks completed by Park during the groundwater monitoring program included the <br />' following <br /> • Locate and measure depth to groundwater in all the wells, <br /> 10 Purge a minimum of three well volumes of groundwater from each of the wells <br /> (BEI-MW1,BEI-MW2, BEI-MW3, SRK-MW1, SRK-MW2, and SRK-MW3) <br />' until pH, temperature and electrical conductivity values were within 10 percent, <br /> • Collect groundwater samples from all existing wells, <br /> 0 Field filter samples for lead analysis, <br /> • Analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH G) and <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), and total lead (TPb) <br />' using EPA methods 8015 Modified, 602 and 239 2,respectively, and <br /> • Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report for presentation to the <br /> PHS\EHD <br /> The PHS/EHD was notified that the sampling date was December 18, 1995 Ms Margaret <br />' Lagono from PHS/EHD was present to observe the sampling <br />' 2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELL SAMPLING METHODOLOGY <br /> 2.1 Groundwater Elevations <br /> 1 Prior to obtaining depth to groundwater measurements, the wells were checked for the presence <br /> of free product using a new disposable bailer for each well Depths to groundwater <br />' measurements were made using an electric water level indicator The depths were measured from <br /> • the top of the surveyed well casings Groundwater level data collected to date from the site are <br /> presented in Table 1 A copy of the field notes are contained in Appendix A <br />' 5023-03 <br /> I <br /> I <br />
