' 1.0 INTRODUCTION 650 Management Corporation (Client) has retained Park Environmental Corporation (Park) to perform quarterly groundwater monitoring at 151 South Main Street in Manteca, California A site location map and site plan, showing the locations of the various wells, are shown on Figures 1 ' and 2 The work performed and described in this report has been mandated by the lead agency, the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD),and ' was performed in accordance with the workplan dated May 24, 1994 and supplemented January 13, 1995, which was approved by PHS/EHD ' 1.1 Scope of Work Specific tasks completed by Park during the groundwater monitoring program included the ' following • Locate and measure depth to groundwater in all the wells, 10 Purge a minimum of three well volumes of groundwater from each of the wells (BEI-MW1,BEI-MW2, BEI-MW3, SRK-MW1, SRK-MW2, and SRK-MW3) ' until pH, temperature and electrical conductivity values were within 10 percent, • Collect groundwater samples from all existing wells, 0 Field filter samples for lead analysis, • Analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH G) and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), and total lead (TPb) ' using EPA methods 8015 Modified, 602 and 239 2,respectively, and • Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report for presentation to the PHS\EHD The PHS/EHD was notified that the sampling date was December 18, 1995 Ms Margaret ' Lagono from PHS/EHD was present to observe the sampling ' 2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELL SAMPLING METHODOLOGY 2.1 Groundwater Elevations 1 Prior to obtaining depth to groundwater measurements, the wells were checked for the presence of free product using a new disposable bailer for each well Depths to groundwater ' measurements were made using an electric water level indicator The depths were measured from • the top of the surveyed well casings Groundwater level data collected to date from the site are presented in Table 1 A copy of the field notes are contained in Appendix A ' 5023-03 I I
