i <br /> ADDENDUM TO MAY 25, 20001 <br /> ' REPORT OF CORRECTIVE ACTIONS AND <br /> RECOMMENDATION FOR SITE CLOSURE <br /> 151 South Main Street <br /> Manteca, California <br /> January 9, 2002 <br /> i1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> ' This report is an addendum to the original"Report of Corrective Actions and Recommendation for Site <br /> Closure," dated May 25,2001 The purpose of this report,prepared by ATC Associates Inc (ATC)on <br /> behalf of Value Reclamation Corporation,is to present groundwater monitoring data in response to the <br /> letter directive of June 27, 2001 from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division(SJCEHD) <br /> requesting two additional quarters of groundwater monitoring The general location of the site is <br /> illustrated on the Vicinity Map presented in Figure 1 <br /> ' 2.0 GROUNDWATER <br /> MONITORING <br /> This report presents the results of two groundwater sampling events conducted on August 1, 2001 and <br /> November 15, 2001, approximately 18 months and 21 months, respectively, after cessation of active <br /> ' remediation at the site <br /> The sampling and sample handling procedures used for monitoring sampling event are presented in <br /> Appendix A The locations of the groundwater monitoring wells and other relevant features are shown <br /> on Figure 2 Table 1 summarizes the construction details for all monitoring and co-extraction wells <br /> installed for site investigation, groundwater monitoring and site remediation <br /> 2.1 Groundwater Analytical Results <br /> A summary of all groundwater analytical results to date, including the August 1 2001 results and the <br /> most recent November 15, 2001 results are presented in Table 2 and are also shown on Figures 3a and <br /> 3b Copies of analytical reports and chain-of-custody documents are presented in Appendix B <br /> The only anomalous result reported was total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHg) reported at a <br /> concentration of 5,500 rmcrograms per Mer(pg/L)in the groundwater sample collected from monitoring <br /> ' well SRK-MWl The ldburdtory comment regarding the reported concentration was that the ` <br /> chromatograph pattern was "not typical of fuel " Monitoring well SRK-MW1 was resampled on <br /> November 28, 2001 The TPHg result on the resample was 72 gg/L, only slightly above the laboratory <br /> detection linut (50gg/L) and consistent with historical records for the well There is no verifiable <br /> explanation of the earlier result although laboratory contamination is a possibility <br /> I <br /> 1 Value Reclamation, Manteca,CA <br /> ' <br /> CvArTc <br /> ATC Project No 75 99975 7501 <br /> January9,2002 <br />
