Manthey Rd APN: 241-020-39 <br /> Lathrop, CA. <br /> The above referenced site was placed in the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) Local Agency Groundwater confirmation that disposal of a ahemald <br /> Injection Control Program (UIC} after con <br /> waste to a septic system had occurred. Investigation for the chemical waste <br /> disposed to the septic system has been performed since that discovery. . <br /> EHD has reviewed Limited Site Assessment consultanReport t, Advancedtic TankGeoEn A onmentaa <br /> August 26, 2003 submitted by your <br /> (AGE) on September 3, 2003 and has the following comments. <br /> The report documented soil and groundwater sampling under and near the <br /> domestic septic tank, distribution box, and leach lines at the above referenced <br /> property. <br /> The laboratory data indicates that no chemicals associated with the drug lab <br /> waste have impacted the soil or groundwater. Based on information in the <br /> above-referenced file and with the provision that the information provided to this <br /> agency was accurate and representative of site conditions, no further action <br /> related to the chemical disposal to that septic system is required. <br /> An inspection of the septic tank indicated that substantial damage was leach I nes <br /> Large cracks were noted and chunks of concrete were missing. <br /> and the filter bed also were damaged. The septic system (tank, lines, box) <br /> cannot be used in its current condition and must be either be replaced or <br /> repaired prior to being placed back in use. You should contact or letter <br /> the City of <br /> Lathrop, Building/Planning Department to obtain the necessary permits <br /> of authorization to repair/replace this septic system and to verify if it may be re- <br /> activated. Once EHD has received the notification from the City of Lathrop <br /> allowing the work, you should contact EHD to obtain the septic permit and <br /> schedule the required inspections. <br />
