Main <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the "Work Plan For Groundwater <br /> Investigation" dated August 1992 prepared by William Hunter and <br /> Associates for the above referenced site. <br /> Groundwater and soil samples should be analyzed for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline in addition to the <br /> constituents listed in the work plan. <br /> The slotted PVC casing should extend five feet above first water <br /> to allow for water level fluctuations and ensure first water is <br /> below the top of the screened interval. <br /> During purging of the well pH, temperature and conductivity <br /> should be measured and the water sample should be collected after <br /> the readings have stabilized. <br /> Please submit the permit application and $89 fee. Once the <br /> permit has been approved installation of the monitoring well can <br /> proceed.
