CRA destroyed the <br /> monitoring wells in response to a no further action letter by the RWQCB, dated May 15, 2008 (Attachment A). <br /> On June 4 through June 6 and June 9, 2008, CRA Staff Scientist <br /> Benjamin Summersett and Staff Scientist John Bostick observed V Table A-Well Destruction Methods <br /> & W Drilling, Inc. (C57# 720904) destroy groundwater monitoring Destruction <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-4, MW-5S, MW-5D, MW-6S, MW-6D, Well I.D. Date Method <br /> MW-7D and MW-8 (Figure 2). All monitoring wells were properly MW-1 6/6/2008 Drill Out <br /> destroyed by over-drilling to the total depth of the well and back <br /> filling with Portland I/II cement to surface. MW-2 6/9/2008 Drill Out <br /> MW-3 6/9/2008 Drill Out <br /> All soil and decontamination water waste generated was stored in <br /> DOT approved 55-gallon steel drums on the Site pending profiling MW-4 6/6/2008 Drill Out <br /> for off site disposal at a licensed receiving facility. Twenty-four(24) MW-5S 6/5/2008 Drill Out <br /> drums of investigation-derived waste (IDW) were generated as a <br /> result of drilling activities. Profile paperwork for the IDW stream MW-5D 6/5/2008 Drill Out <br /> was submitted to Integrated Wastestream Management (IWM) for MW-6S 6/6/2008 Drill Out <br /> soil disposal. The soil IDW(21 drums)were transported to Republic MW-6D 6/6/2008 Drill Out <br /> Service Vasco Road Landfill in Livermore, California. The liquid <br /> IDW (3 drums) were transported to Chemical Waste Management in MW-7D 6/4/2008 Drill Out <br /> Kettleman City, California.
