Copies of the respective chain of custody and <br /> analytical results are attached for your review. <br /> There were apprwunlately 30-AA cubic yards of soil stockpiled at the subject site as a result of the used oil <br /> UST rmutuval on September 27, 1995.Four composite samples((JOSR1 a-d)were collected by <br /> Touchstone and witnessed by SJCPHS on that same day.The samples were later composited in the <br /> laboratory and aru*7edfor valatile orgawc oompounds(EPA 524+0),semi-volatile orgarnc compounds <br /> (EPA 8270),total recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons(EPA 418-1),total lead,and CAM 17 metals to <br /> meet landfill acceptance criteria.The respective chain of custody and analytical results are attached fear <br /> your review. <br /> In addition to the above-mentioned soil volumes,Chevron proposes to offhaul and dispose of two <br /> additional soil stockpiles.One stockpile represents approximately forty cubic yards of Boil that was <br /> generated on October 2, 1995 during the removal of excess backfill remaining in the former fuel UST pit <br /> and during the deepening of the same pit from approximately.thirteen feet below ground surface to i <br /> aWeximateiy seventeen feet below ground surface beneath the location of Touchstone's previously <br />
