Main Street, Ripon
Leon and Benjamin:
Today I received a well permit application and permit fee of$89 for the destruction of ten monitoring wells at
Chevron Service Station 9-1452 located at 334 East Main Street, Ripon, California. Included was a No Further
Action Required (NFAR)concurrence letter from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board Central
Valley Region for the above-referenced site.
I am sending a letter today stating that I am returning the check to Conestoga-Rovers &Associates because the
well destruction permit fee.is $60, not $89. 1 also directed that a work plan be submitted for the well destructions.
I will not issue.the permit until I have received and approved a work plan for the well destructions and have
received a resubmitted check for$60. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
7 San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton, California 95202
Phone: (209)468-9852
Fax: (209)468-3433
Email: vrnccartnev u jcelhd.com.
5/23/2008
