CHRONOLOGY <br /> Chevron Service Station 9-1452 <br /> 334 East Main Street <br /> Ripon, California <br /> 09/27/95 Chevron removed. two 10,000-gallon gasoline tanks, one 5,000-gallon <br /> gasoline tank, and one 1,000-gallon waste oil tank, along with dispensers <br /> andline roduct <br /> p s, and approximately 315 cubic yards of soil. Analytical <br /> results reported total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline <br /> (TPH-g) detected at maximum concentrations of 260 milligrams per <br /> kilogram (mg/kg) in soil sample DX-E-7.0, benzene and methyl tertiary <br /> butyl ether(MTBE) detected at 0.03 mg/kg and 0.1 mg/kg, respectively, in <br /> soil sample.NT-SE-9.0, and total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as <br /> diesel (TPH-d) detected at 1.1 mg/kg in soil sample NT-SE-6.5. <br /> 10/03/95 San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) filed <br /> Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge on this date. <br /> 10/03/95 EHD filed Unauthorized Release Form URF#95-U33 on this date. <br /> 12/07/95 This site was assigned to the EHD Local Oversight Program (LOP). <br /> 11/08/95 Date of Work Plan submitted by Pacific Environmental Group, Inc. that <br /> proposed advancing soil borings and monitoring wells to investigate soil <br /> and groundwater in the vicinity of the former underground storage tanks <br /> (USTs). <br /> 11/28/95 Date the EHD conditionally approved the scope of work presented in work <br /> plan dated November 8, 1995. <br /> 01/10/96 Advanced soil borings B-1 through B-4 and monitoring wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-4 at this site. <br /> 05/06/96 Date of Soil and Groundwater Investigation, submitted by Pacific <br /> Environmental Group, Inc. Analytical results reported 1.3 mg/kg TPH-d <br /> detected in B-2 at 11 feet below surface grade (bsg), 0.18 mg/kg MTBE <br /> detected in 13-1 at 11 feet bsg, and 1.0 mg/kg TPH-d detected in MW-4 at <br /> 16 feet bsg. <br /> i <br /> 06/16/97 Date of Case Closure Report submitted by Pacific Environmental Group, <br /> Inc. that reported a mass estimate of 0.5 pounds of total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons remaining at the site and included a sensitive receptor <br /> survey that reported 39 wells located within a half-mile radius of the site. <br /> Of these wells, 2 were municipal wells (one within 0.4 mile northwest of <br /> the site), 22 were monitoring wells, 8 were domestic wells, 3 were <br /> industrial wells, 2 were irrigation wells, and 2 wells had an unknown <br /> purpose. <br />
