The purpose of this Work Plan is to evaluate a possible residual <br /> non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) source. This Work Plan has been prepared as proposed <br /> by SECOR in the letter to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (County), dated December 21, 2004. <br /> This Work Plan includes a brief site description, scope of work, and schedule. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is an active service station located at 334 East Main Street in Ripon, California <br /> (Figure 1). Current site facilities include three 12,000-gallon gasoline USTs, two dispenser <br /> islands under a common canopy, and a station building containing two hydraulic hoists <br /> (Figure 2). <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of work proposed for this assessment includes the advancement of six <br /> Geoprobe borings at the locations shown on Figure 2. <br /> A summary of the field and laboratory procedures to be followed during these assessment <br /> activities is presented in Attachment 1.
