A 24-hour constant rate aquifer pump test is proposed to
further evaluate aquifer characteristics. Prior to the 24-hour constant-rate aquifer
pump test, a step-drawdown test will be performed to assess the sustainable yield of
the pumping well. The step-drawdown test will be conducted using a submersible
pump in the newly installed 6-inch well (MW-8). The constant-rate pumping test will
be performed using MW-8 at the optimal flow rate determined during the step-
drawdown test. __
• Permitting. The applicable permits for the CPT soil borings and the 6-inch well will
be obtained from San Joaquin County prior to drilling.
• Soil Selection and Analysis.
