This work was performed in accordance with SECOR's Work Plan for
Interim Remedial Measures, dated June 26, 2003. This work plan was approved by the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Division (County) as indicated in their letter dated October 16, 2003
(Attachment 1).
On May 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2005 Integrated Wastestream Management (IWM), under the
supervision of SECOR, extracted approximately 15,100 gallons of groundwater from well MW-6S
and well MW-8 (Figure 2) using a submersible pump at a pumping rate of approximately 5 gallons
per minute (gpm). Based on the data collected during this event, approximately 0.09 pound of
dissolved methyl tertiary butyl ether (MtBE) was removed from the groundwater. To date,
approximately 3.78 cumulative pounds of dissolved MtBE has been removed from the groundwater.
Extracted groundwater analytical data and MtBE mass removal estimates are presented in Tables 1
and 2, respectively. Certified analytical reports and chain-of-custody documentation is included in
Attachment 2. Field data sheets for the batch extraction events are included in Attachment 3.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact Brian Carey of
SECOR at(916)861-0400, extension 241 or Darin Rouse of Chevron at(925)842-9655.
Sincerely,
SECOR International Incorporated
s
Bryan Rorie Brian Carey
Staff Scientist Associate Geologist
lAChevron1914521REP0RTS18atch Extraction120051May 2005 Batch Extraction.doc
