A 24-hour constant rate aquifer pump test is proposed to l <br /> further evaluate aquifer characteristics. Prior to the 24-hour constant-rate aquifer <br /> pump test, a step-drawdown test will be performed to assess the sustainableyield of <br /> the pumping well. The step-drawdown test will be conducted using a submersible <br /> pump in the newly installed 6-inch well (MW-8). The constant-rate pumping test will 1 <br /> be performed using MW-8 at the optimal flow rate determined during the step- <br /> drawdown test. <br /> • Permitting. The applicable permits for the CPT soil borings and the 6-inch well will <br /> be obtained from San Joaquin County prior to drilling. <br /> • Soil Selection and Analysis. No soil samples will be collected from the CPT borings <br /> or the 6-inch well. <br /> Proposed field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment B. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> a SECOR is prepared to initiate fieldwork within 2 weeks following the issuance of <br /> k, necessary permits by San Joaquin County Public Health Department.
