(Ultramar)RESNA Industries(RESNA, formerly Applied <br /> GeoSystems) is submitting this work plan for drilling one soil boring and installing one <br /> groundwater monitoring well in the boring at Beacon Service Station No.492 in Manteca, <br /> California. The purpose of this investigation is to assess whether dissolved hydrocarbons are <br /> present downgradient of existing wells and to evaluate the groundwater gradient and <br /> direction of groundwater flow at the site. This work plan describes our procedures and <br /> methods associated with this investigation. <br /> The work will be performed in accordance with the Tri-Regionai Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tank Sites <br /> (California Regional Water Quality Control Board.Central Valley Region, 1990);Appendix <br /> A to that document (August 1991); and the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Manual <br /> (California Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Task Force, 19$9).
